Luna Sea – I For You

Just now, when I came upon the word dreamer, suddenly Ozzy Osbourne’s Dreamer struck my mind. Hmm.. it has been so long since the last time I heard this song. It’s a nice song and I used to like it I think. So I went through my music videos collection and played that song (video). After finishing with Dreamer, I watched a couple more videos including Queens Of The Stone Age – No One Knows, Puddle Of Mudd – She Hates Me, some Metallica’s, some System of a Down’s and even a Ricky Martin’s 😛

Ok, then out of nowhere, Luna Sea‘s I For You came in mind. This song brought back even more memories. To think that I used to like it a lots! Heck, I’ve memorised the lyric (japanese) to the extend that I can still sing-a-long with it eventhough it has been so long. Ilmu atau ayat al-Quran susah pula nak ingat.. (>_<); I even memorised the bassline for it. Well, I can still play some of them I think.. 😛 Anway, it was all begin with the japanese drama, Kamisama, Mou Sukoshi Dake, played by Takeshi Kaneshiro and Kyoko Fukada. If you have watched this drama, you should know that I For You is the opening theme song.

I fell in love with this song the moment I heard of it. The drama has a sad theme thus the lyric for this song is also quite sad I think. But I’m quite disappointed with the PV (music video). In my point of view, it’s not quite portrayed the meaning of this song. They could’ve done something better by putting in some dramatic or some lovey-dovey scene.. hehehe.. After all, it’s a love-theme song, isn’t it? Well, maybe it’s not Luna Sea’s style to do something like that. But if that’s the case, then I think they should’ve put in more band-playing scene. They only appeared for just a short time at the end of the song.

Nevertheless, I really loved this song and I still do. I love the sadness I used to feel when I listened to this song. For whatever reason or whomever I thought of at that time. Or perhaps I’m in sadness right now to suddenly think of this song? Hmm.. I wonder for what reason this time around? Anyhow, below is the video clip for I For You. From I to You 😉
